Landing Page?

Currently the only 2 options shown in Admin > Basics > Home Page as a “landing page” for site visitors are Discussions & Tags - neither of which are desirable to me. I would prefer Announcements which seems to me to be a more sensible place to start and is also a standard Tag that all Flarum forums have.

Can this option be added?

laffin_boy I don’t think setting a specific tag as the homepage is possible from the admin panel right now. But it should be possible to set it in the database directly, if I remember correctly. I can look at it and set it for you if you want?

Actually, it’s just a tag that FreeFlarum added into its default template. It’s not a standard tag in a bare Flarum installation

FYI use https://discuss.flarum.org for feature requests for the Flarum software, the Suggestion tag is for purely https://freeflarum.com related suggestions

laffin_boy alright I checked and it unfortunately seems that it is not possible to overwrite the default route to something else than what’s in the dropdown. See https://github.com/flarum/issue-archive/issues/290 for more info
