SEO & Sitemap Set Up?

I have installed and activated the Site Map and SEO extensions. However, I am wondering how I can register/upload the sitemap .xtml to Google Search Consul when I can’t install the recommended Google Verification File? Obviously I do not own the free flarum domain etc…
As a newbie, my apologies if I have missed something very Basic.
