Why should we install this extension?

Regarding such statements, would this extension be beneficial for the majority of FreeFlarum users?

I don’t know how it works at all, but from what I understood, I think that this feature is seemingly redundant. As I think there is an unspoken rule of the internet “if you can see it, you can get it”. E. g.: anyone can download an image by screenshoting it, for example.
