Michael_admin FreeFlarum does not modify the image formats in any way. It is possible that recent extension update changed things, or you misconfigured something.
But, to determine the exact cause, it would be helpful to know which extension are you using for the image uploads? Or, are you just embedding external images? Also, mind if I create a temporary admin account at your forum to look into it in more detail?
