Why should this extension be included?
I’ve noticed that some FreeFlarum forums are used for tabletop role-playing games (RPGs), play-by-post games, online communities, and other activities where dice rolling is essential.
This extension adds interactivity and fun to forums without requiring any external tools or complex setup — it works out of the box simply by typing dice emoji in a post.
Why this matters:
- Play-by-post gaming communities are very active and loyal, they stay on a platform for years if it meets their needs.
- I personally run a play-by-post game forum that has existed for over 11 years. We are currently looking for a new home because our old service is failing us. FreeFlarum is one of our top options, but we rely heavily on dice rolling functionality.
- Adding this extension would make FreeFlarum much more attractive to the entire RPG and gaming community, a dedicated and engaged user base.
- This extension seems to be stable, free, and has no external dependencies, it perfectly fits FreeFlarum’s inclusion criteria.
