Forum not resolving...

I have a forum and it isn’t resolving I’m pointing the cname record to “www” for the name and address: cname.freeflarum.com my site is worldendeavor.org . Am I pointing the cname correctly? I hope it is still up I was getting visitors but there not posting just reading

SKevo hi thank you for replying. It’s worldendeavor.freeflarum.com I’m wondering if it was taken down / archived… I had a lot of goodie posts posted that id like to save… I hope

Norbert Apologies, your forum was inactive (it had less than 2 users, or discussions or posts, or your last admin login was more than 60 days ago. I have reactivated it for you, so it should be available again.

FYI your DNS CNAME record was okay, so I’ve completed the domain linking process for you. Your forum should be available at https://www.worldendeavor.org. Please, let me know if something is not working properly

SKevo yeah I haven’t posted for many moons. Thaaaannnkyou soo much. I’m gonna try to see if I add an https record then maybe without the www. It will work it. But it’s resolving to the url you said. Much appreciated…

Norbert the URL already works with the HTTPS protocol. For CNAME at root, that is not officially supported by FreeFlarum (nor by the DNS itself), but some forum administrators had luck and could set it up on root (FYI the intended way to have a forum “at root” is to redirect root to WWW). The forum is working well with HTTPS at your custom domain, therefore I assume that this matter was resolved. But if that’s not the case, please flag this post and I’ll unlock the discussion.
