Hello! Piano | Tell has had a sudden influx of new users and for the most part it’s been working out great!

However, there are a handful of users who have reported they never receive the activation email. This seems to work fine for all the big providers such as gmail.com, etc, but some domains such as earthlink.net or att.net or comcast.net may not be working.

I don’t see the bounces from my side and I don’t see any relevant logs on the FreeFlarum side.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?

    navindra apologies for the inconvenience. I can see the bounces for some of the e-mail domains you mentioned in the logs. I will have a look into it and figure out why this happens

    Edit: I’ve now contacted the e-mail providers of domains known to bounce back to see how this can be fixed, since it appears that they reject mail from FreeFlarum’s mail server for some reason that is yet unknown.

        Is spam folder also not?

        navindra FYI I have contacted the email providers that seem to reject FreeFlarum’s mail, and some of them (AT&T) replied that they have fixed this. I will continue to monitor the logs to improve the mail delivery further (not sure which mail providers still have issues at the moment)
