[deleted] as we have discussed via e-mail, such forum has potential to be confused with the official support forum. FreeFlarum has no plans to manage a separate support forum for people of China at the moment. The reason being that I can’t speak Chinese, translations are not accurate and I would therefore not able to provide any support regarding issues mentioned at this forum.
The reason why multiple localised forums work for Flarum’s Discuss forum (for example, https://flarum.org.cn/ and https://flarum.it) is because there is potential to discuss things related to the software. There is room for many thoughts, ideas and improvements.
FreeFlarum, on the other hand, is just a hosting provider. Communication with the support (primarily being me, an individual) on this platform often involves dealing with downtimes, forum errors and in general: things that require me to access the server that FreeFlarum is being hosted on and make appropriate changes. There is not a very big room for discussion regarding the Flarum software, as for that purpose, there exists the Discuss forum already over at https://discuss.flarum.org.
This also unfortunately means that you can’t really assist these people with their issues, as you don’t have live access to the server in order to fix the issue. In the end, you will have to forward such request to FreeFlarum, which effectively defeats the purpose of your forum - people can just submit their concerns straight to this forum, and get a faster response.
If you meant to create the forum as a way to discuss forum management related things, then I would like to once again remind everyone that this forum is for discussing matters related to the hosting aspect of FreeFlarum only - not the Flarum software, its extension, or forum management. For that purpose, please forward your requests to one of the forums in the Discuss ecosystem, the primary one being https://discuss.flarum.org. I hope that this extensive response helped to clarify some common misunderstandings related to the purpose of this forum.
Back to the original matter at hand (123456qwq), it seems that the 525 issue has occurred during the time when I made a configuration change in order to strengthen the anti-DDoS protection, and therefore the issue was only temporary and lasted for about 5 minutes. In this time window, this discussion was opened. However, since this forum is now consistently well-accessible by me, I assume that this issue is now resolved. For this reason, I am closing this thread to prevent any more off-topic ideas and thoughts, in order to keep things well-organized and so that others may find what they need more easily. If we keep everything off-topic, someone looking for a certain response might find it in a completely unrelated thread, and that is something that I am trying to avoid. However, if @123456qwq’s issue persists, they can feel free to flag this post and I will re-open the thread for further discussion regarding this issue.
