404 Error on our Forum

Hi,

We have a forum hosted here: https://solidstatelogic.flarum.cloud

It’s now returning a 404, and the employee who manages it is unavailable long-term. Is there anything obvious which is causing this, or anything we can do without needing his login details?

I noticed we’re getting errors when loading the page (“Oops! Something went wrong during a cross-origin request. Please reload the page and try again.”)

Is this just a side effect of it recently coming back online or is something wrong with the setup?

tomwSSL which URL are you using to access the forum? It should be https://solidstatelogic.freeflarum.com

If it’s still happening, can you tell me if there’s a pattern on what URLs it exactly happens? I’ll register a temp account and look into it

@SKevo Interesting, since its creation, we’ve been using flarum.cloud, instead of freeflarum.cloud. When I try to use your link I can’t log in. Sorry I can’t investigate more on our side, unfortunately we don’t have loads of information on how it was set up/admin details etc

tomwSSL ah, sorry. The reactivation seems to reset it back to .freeflarum.com. I have changed the forum domain back to https://solidstatelogic.flarum.cloud

SKevo FYI it seemed that Cloudflare cache was also causing problems, so I purged it for both the .flarum.cloud and .freeflarum.com domains. Hopefully, things should work now

I’ve also enabled temporary canonical URL redirect (Administration > Extensions > Canonical Url), so that visitors from solidstatelogic.freeflarum.com will be automatically redirected to the correct solidstatelogic.flarum.cloud URL (if all is well and you won’t be switching domains again, feel free to switch it to the permanent redirect in the extension’s settings)
