It is no longer possible to load the login page and all login / sign up buttons are missing.
I attempted to hide the log in and sign up features from regular visitors of the site. The intent was for the site to operate as a regular website for average joes, and as a forum strictly for admins who want to release new documentation or make some sort of blog post. So, the idea was to make it so that the sign up and login buttons at the top, the ‘login to reply’ button, and the reply box (which immediately prompts a login and would confuse the concept anyways) are hidden from regular users. Admins would still be able to login by going directly to the login url.
I managed to hide everything but the reply prompt by adding custom CSS.
Now that I have, the login button seems to be permanently gone. And the direct login URL replies ‘An error occurred while trying to load this page.’ Things I’ve tried: resetting the cache of the site via freeflarum, removing all custom css, and disabling the pages extension which I previously had pointing to a forum post. None of this has restored the login feature.
I would really appreciate some counsel on how to fix this. It would also be so extremely epic if someone could help me get my idea operational. Its important to me not to confuse users by allowing them to think they can sign up for something.
